spazbotb

Spazbot is a 6 wheel drive robotic platform based on the M.I.T. Handyboard, Polaroid 6500 Sonar, Infrared Proximity Detection, and custom sensors designed by me, Jerry Normandin. Spazbot will explore his environment. If he detects an obstacle he will stop, pan to the right, ping the sonar, pan to the left, ping the sonar, take the course with the most distance between himself and an obstacle. My oldest boy named the robot Spazbot since that when the batteries are just about exhausted the Servos tend to jitter a little bit. When he gets the jitters it's time to throw him back on the charger. The development environment for Spazbot is Interactive C, and Interactive C runs on Linux!
